The Sire Marcus Miller P8 S5 Tobacco Sunburst is a high-quality 5-string electric bass guitar that combines the classic look of a Precision model with modern innovations from Marcus Miller. The swamp ash body delivers powerful low-end response, a clear mid-range and a fast response, whilst the torrefied maple neck offers extra stability thanks to the torrefaction process. The comfortable EDGELESS™ rounded fretboard edges make long playing sessions effortless. This model also comes with an official Sire gig bag, ensuring your instrument is well protected straight away during transport.

Versatile PJ electronics for every style

The Marcus Super PJ Revolution Set combines a split Precision-style single-coil with a Jazz-style single-coil, allowing you to switch effortlessly between rich vintage bass tones and modern, bright sounds. The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp features a 3-band EQ with adjustable mid-frequency and an active/passive switch. This gives you maximum control over your sound, whether you’re playing live or working in the studio. Thanks to its 34-inch scale length, comfortable C-shaped neck profile and 46 mm wide nut, this 5-string bass offers excellent playability and a solid low B string.

High-quality finish and reliable hardware

The Marcus Heavymass II bridge contributes to excellent sustain, stable intonation and direct string response. Premium open-gear tuning machines ensure that the tuning is reliably maintained, whilst the chrome hardware and ivory-coloured pearloid pickguard stylishly complement the Tobacco Sunburst finish.
