The Sire Marcus Miller V10 DX5 Tobacco Sunburst is a high-quality 5-string electric bass guitar for bassists who demand maximum performance on stage and in the studio. This premium model from the V-series combines a swamp ash body with a solid flamed maple top, resulting in a powerful, clear bass tone with excellent definition. The roasted flamed hard maple neck offers extra stability and an extremely comfortable playing experience. The luxurious Tobacco Sunburst finish is complemented by gold-coloured hardware and an official Sire hard case, so you can transport your instrument safely.
Marcus Miller electronics for maximum versatility
The V10 DX5 is fitted with the Marcus Premium-J Revolution Set featuring 1970s-style pickup spacing, specially developed in collaboration with Marcus Miller. These high-quality single-coils deliver a wide frequency range, plenty of detail and a dynamic response that is perfectly suited to a wide variety of musical styles. The Marcus Heritage-3 preamp features an active 3-band EQ with mid-frequency control and an active/passive switch. Thanks to the comprehensive controls – including volume, tone, pickup blender, bass, treble and mid-range controls – you can effortlessly craft your ideal bass sound.
Premium hardware and optimal playing comfort
The hardware is also of the highest standard. The Hipshot KickAss bass bridge delivers excellent sustain, precise intonation and adjustable string action, whilst the Hipshot USA Ultralite tuning machines ensure a low headstock weight and excellent tuning stability. The roasted maple fingerboard with Edgeless™ rounded edges feels exceptionally smooth during long playing sessions. Abalone block inlays, gold-coloured hardware and the included transparent pickguard also give this premium J-bass an exclusive look that perfectly matches its professional performance.
