The Sire Marcus Miller V7 SR4 Natural Satin is a 4-string electric bass guitar that combines the classic Jazz Bass shape with modern electronics and high-quality materials. The body is crafted from swamp ash, a type of wood renowned for its crisp attack, excellent resonance and balanced tone. The attractive Natural Satin finish beautifully showcases the natural wood grain. Thanks to the familiar 34-inch scale length and timeless design, this bass feels instantly familiar, whilst delivering outstanding performance for both stage and studio use.

Versatile active electronics

The V7 SR4 features a Marcus Super-J Revolution pickup set with classic 1960s pickup positioning for an open and detailed Jazz Bass tone. Combined with the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp, you benefit from an active 3-band EQ with mid-frequency control. The controls include volume, tone, pickup blend, treble, mid-frequency and bass, allowing you to effortlessly dial in a wide range of sounds. Thanks to its active and passive modes, this bass is suitable for virtually any musical style, from funk and jazz to rock and pop.

Comfortable neck and reliable hardware

The hard maple neck has a comfortable C-profile and features an Edgeless hard maple fingerboard with rounded edge profiles for extra playing comfort. The 20 medium frets and the 9.5-inch fingerboard radius offer a pleasant balance between a traditional playing feel and modern playability. The 38 mm leg nut ensures precise string guidance on this 4-string model. Furthermore, the Marcus Heavy Mass II bridge, premium open-back tuning machines and chrome-plated hardware ensure stable tuning, excellent sustain and a high-quality finish.
