The Sire Marcus Miller V5.24 A5 Dakota Red is a passive 5-string electric bass guitar that combines classic jazz bass tones with modern playing capabilities. Thanks to its 24-fret design, you have a wider tonal range, making solos, chords and melodic lines easier to play. The North American alder body delivers a warm, balanced tone, whilst the roasted maple neck provides extra stability and a comfortable playing experience. The Dakota Red finish also gives this bass a striking and stylish look.

Vintage tone with modern playability

The V5.24 is fitted with a Marcus Vintage-J Revolution pickup set that retains the character of a classic passive J-bass, but with added definition and dynamics. With separate volume controls for the neck and bridge pickups and a master tone control, you can effortlessly craft your ideal sound. The 34-inch scale length, 24 medium frets, 9.5-inch fingerboard radius and the comfortable C-profile neck enable fast runs and precise playing across the entire neck. The rosewood fingerboard with rounded edges significantly enhances playing comfort.
