The Sire Marcus Miller V3N 4L Tobacco Sunburst is a left-handed electric bass guitar that builds on the successful V3 platform, featuring various improvements in terms of ergonomics, tone and playing comfort. The mahogany body delivers a warm, full-bodied fundamental tone with good balance, whilst the redesigned Marcus Miller Jazz body shape sits comfortably against the body. The attractive Tobacco Sunburst finish, combined with the tinted Canadian hard maple neck, also gives the instrument a stylish, professional look that really comes into its own both on stage and in the studio.

Updated electronics with active and passive tones

The V3N 4L is fitted with the Marcus Standard J-Revolution pickup set with Alnico magnets, which delivers warm mid-range tones, smooth high frequencies and a dynamic response. Thanks to the Sire Standard 2-band preamp, you can easily adjust your ideal bass and treble settings. Using the push/pull function on the bass control, you can effortlessly switch between active and passive modes. As a result, this bass offers both modern, powerful sounds and the familiar vintage J-style bass tone for a wide range of musical styles.

Comfortable neck and reliable hardware

The Canadian hard maple neck, with its comfortable C-profile and tinted finish, features a rosewood Edgeless™ fingerboard with rounded edge profiles for extra playing comfort. The natural maple nut, medium frets and 34-inch scale length ensure a familiar playing experience. The bass also features a Marcus Standard Bass Bridge with body-through string routing, standard open-gear tuning machines and a three-ply black/white/black pickguard. The chrome-plated hardware completes the package and ensures reliable performance during rehearsals, studio recordings and live performances.
