The Sire Marcus Miller V3N 5L Antique White is a left-handed 5-string electric bass guitar that builds on the popular V3 platform with improved ergonomics and updated electronics. The mahogany body delivers a warm, full-bodied tone with good balance and powerful low-end response. Thanks to the updated Marcus Miller Jazz body shape, the instrument sits comfortably against the body, whilst the stylish Antique White finish and the tinted Canadian hard maple neck give it a modern and professional look. This V3 New Gen is designed for bassists looking for a versatile instrument offering excellent value for money.

Updated electronics for versatile sounds

The Marcus Standard J-Revolution pickup set with Alnico magnets produces warm mid-range tones, smooth high frequencies and a dynamic response. Combined with the Sire Standard 2-band preamp, you have quick and intuitive tone control at your fingertips. The push/pull function on the bass control knob allows you to switch easily between active and passive modes, putting both modern and classic J-bass sounds within easy reach. This makes the V3N 5L suitable for a wide range of musical styles, from funk and jazz to rock, pop and gospel.

Comfortable playing feel and robust hardware

The Canadian hard maple neck with a comfortable C-profile features a rosewood Edgeless™ fingerboard with rounded edge profiles for a smooth playing experience. The natural, 46 mm-wide nut provides ample space for five strings, whilst the 34-inch scale length ensures a familiar playing feel. The bass also features a Marcus Standard Bass Bridge with body-through string routing, standard open-gear tuning machines and a three-ply black/white/black pickguard. The chrome-plated hardware completes the package and guarantees reliable performance on stage and in the studio.
