The Sire Marcus Miller V5 A4 Black is a 4-string electric bass guitar specially designed for bassists who appreciate the authentic sound and look of a classic passive jazz bass. The combination of a North American alder body, a roasted hard maple neck and a roasted hard maple fingerboard delivers a clear, balanced tone with great definition and a fast response. Thanks to its fully passive electronics, this bass guitar retains the character and dynamics for which vintage instruments are renowned, whilst modern finishing techniques ensure a high level of playing comfort.

Classic tone with modern playability

The Marcus Vintage J-Revolution pickup set produces the recognisable open and defined Jazz Bass tone with a solid punch, clear highs and a warm low-end response. Using the two volume controls and the master tone control, you can easily blend both pickups to your liking. The roasted hard maple neck has been treated using a torrefaction process, making the wood extra stable and giving it a comfortable, well-played-in feel. Rounded fret edges, a C-profile and a 9.5-inch fingerboard radius contribute to a smooth and natural playing experience, both on stage and in the studio.

High-quality finish and reliable hardware

The hardware also complements the vintage character of the V5 A4 perfectly.
