The Sire Marcus Miller V5 A4F Tobacco Sunburst is a fretless 4-string electric bass guitar for bassists who love an authentic vintage sound and the expressive character of a fretless fingerboard. The combination of a North American alder body and a roasted hard maple neck delivers a warm, balanced tone with plenty of definition and sustain. Thanks to the classic Tobacco Sunburst finish and the recognisable Marcus Miller Jazz body shape, this bass not only has a timeless look but also feels familiar during long rehearsals, studio sessions and gigs.

Authentic passive vintage tone

The V5 A4F is fitted with the Marcus Vintage J-Revolution pickup set, allowing you to enjoy an open, dynamic Jazz Bass sound without active electronics. The fully passive control system consists of separate volume controls for the neck and bridge pickups and a master tone control, allowing you to easily set your ideal balance. The fretless design enables smooth glissandos, subtle vibratos and expressive tone shaping. This makes the bass particularly well-suited to jazz, fusion, soul, funk and other styles where nuance and playing feel are key.

Comfortable neck and classic hardware

The roasted hard maple neck, with its comfortable C-profile and rounded fretboard edges, offers a smooth playing feel across the full 34-inch scale length. The roasted maple fretboard features black block inlays and black single-layer binding, completing the classic look. Furthermore, the V5 A4F features a Marcus Miller Vintage S-bridge, premium open-gear tuning machines, a black plastic Jazz knob set and a three-ply black pickguard.
