The 5-string version of the Sire Marcus Miller V6 is a bass guitar with a unique look and excellent musical characteristics. Sire has paid great attention to minimising weight, making this bass guitar very comfortable to play even on long gigs. It has active preamp with a combined knob for volume and tone, as well as a treble/mid knob and a bass control. The latter features a push-pull switch that allows switching to passive mode. The Marcus Super-J Revolution pickups form the basis of a full, warm sound.

High build quality

The V6 features a so-called "Edgeless" fingerboard. This means that all possible irritation is avoided by rounding off the edges of the fingerboard, resulting in comfortable and smooth playing. The lightweight mahogany body features an ash top, which Sire has tackled with a sandblast treatment. This gives a lot of depth and texture to the wood, giving this bass guitar an exceptional look. It is available in four colours. Thanks to the Marcus Miller Modern-S bridge, intonation is spot-on and this bass guitar can be used both string-through-body and top-loaded.
