The Sire Marcus Miller V7+ A5F Antique White is a fully-fledged fretless 5-string electric bass guitar designed for bassists seeking maximum expression and a versatile tone. Thanks to its classic J-model design, North American alder body and the combination of active and passive electronics, this bass delivers both warm vintage tones and modern, powerful sounds. The fretless design enables subtle glissandos, vocal-like lines and an extremely dynamic playing style. This makes the instrument suitable for a wide range of playing techniques and virtually any musical genre.
High-quality materials and comfortable playability
Hard maple has been chosen for the neck, featuring a comfortable C-profile and a silky-smooth satin finish. The ebony fretless fingerboard ensures a direct attack, excellent definition and a bright tonal character. The rounded Edgeless™ fingerboard edges significantly enhance playing comfort, making long playing sessions effortless. The natural bone nut contributes to a clear tone and stable intonation, whilst the 34-inch scale length and 46 mm nut width provide ample space for precise playing across all five strings.
Versatile electronics and reliable hardware
The Marcus Super-J Revolution single-coil pickups deliver an authentic J-bass tone with plenty of detail and dynamics. Combined with the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp, you have access to a comprehensive 3-band EQ with adjustable mid-frequency and a switchable active/passive mode. This makes it easy to tailor the bass to any musical situation. The Marcus Miller Modern S bridge with string-through-body construction provides extra sustain and a tight response. Premium open-gear tuning machines, a chrome hardware finish and a tortoise pickguard complete the package.
