The Sire Marcus Miller V7N A5L New Gen is a left-handed 5-string electric bass guitar that builds on the successful V7 series with improved construction and even better balance. The North American alder body provides a powerful, balanced foundation for a wide range of musical styles, whilst the roasted maple neck, with its comfortable C-shape and Edgeless™ fretboard edges, sits comfortably in the hand. Thanks to the stainless steel medium frets, you’ll also benefit from a long lifespan and a smooth playing feel. The striking Candy Apple Red finish gives this bass guitar a modern and professional look.

Versatile active electronics

The Marcus Super-J Revolution pickup set delivers a clear, open tone with excellent definition and note separation. Combined with the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp, you have a wide range of tonal possibilities at your disposal. The active electronics feature an adjustable mid-frequency control, whilst the push/pull function on the bass control allows you to switch easily between active and passive modes. With controls for volume, tone, blend, treble, mid-range and bass, you can effortlessly tailor the sound to any playing style, from jazz and funk to rock, pop and fusion.

Comfort and reliability

The Marcus Miller Modern-S Bass Bridge, with a string spacing of 18 mm, provides a stable foundation and a comfortable playing experience for a 5-string bass. Premium lightweight open-back tuning machines contribute to excellent balance, whilst the ebony fingerboard is finished with white pearloid block inlays and ivory-coloured single-layer binding for a luxurious look. The mint green pickguard provides a striking contrast to the Candy Apple Red finish.
