General
DR Strings' handmade strings are of high quality because more attention can be paid to production than if it were done by machine. The EH-11 Tite-Fit Heavy strings lend themselves perfectly to rougher styles of music such as rock, heavy metal and blues. The Tite-Fit strings are all-round wound and have a round core. Strings with a round core, unlike strings with a hexagonal core, do not let dirt and moisture in. This makes them very durable and keeps them sounding bright for a very long time.
Nickel-plated steel: cutting through the mix
DR Strings Tite-Fit strings are made of nickel-plated steel, also known as nickel plated. This makes them very flexible and bright in sound. The layer of nickel adds warmth to the sound and ensures that your guitar sound cuts through the mix flawlessly during performances or recordings.

Ik kreeg de snaren binnen had ze gekozen, omdat ik eerder snaren van dit merk had gekocht. Maar toen ik ze op mijn gitaar begon op te spannen zag ik kleine plekjes, een soort van kratertjes en vieze plekjes. Het zal het spelen niet benadelen, maar wel verzwakken en ik verwacht van snaren dat ze gewoon egaal en goed zijn. Wel jammer.
