DR Strings' PHR-10/52 Pure Blues Big & Heavy string set is ideal for electric guitar players who like extra-thick pure nickel wound steel strings that are perfect for drop-down tunings. They're made with great care by hand in the USA and offer a fuller, vintage-style sound.
Pure Blues Strings by DR
As their name suggests, these strings are ideal for playing blues music. Unlike modern strings that tend to have a hexagonal core, these strings have an authentic vintage construction with a rounded core. This, together with the pure nickel windings, deliver more sustain, punch and low tones. It also prevents dirt from building up meaning these strings retain their sound for longer.
