I love Elixir Optoweb, kinder to your frets, last a long time and sound great for ages. When they are past their best they tend to snap so think about this if you are touring. I tent do have allot of guitars on rotation so Elixirs keep guitars inspirational all year round. I’m also probed to tarnishing hardware and normal strings quickly so I always get elixir. I wish that they did 9.5-46 or 45 as this would be the ideal gage for me.

Fijne snaren, maken weinig "schuifgeluiden", mellow klank. Voorlopig mijn standaard set, vervangt Thomastik Jazz js110.

Op mijn gitaar een setje 11-49 vervangen door deze 10-46 en ik moet zeggen dat de bespeelbaarheid is verbeterd maar het geluid van de lage snaren van de 11-49 set vond ik beter klinken.

Snaren spelen heerlijk en zijn merkbaar 'slicker' dan andere snaren. Mn strat leeft weer helemaal op met dit nieuwe setje. Ben al langere tijd gebruiker van elixir snaren en ze gaan normaal gesproken lang mee. Dit is de eerste keer dat ik de polyweb versie heb gekocht.
MAAR
Helaas knapte de hoge e snaar al na 2 uur spelen. Het is waarschijnlijk een productiefout en ik heb dit verder nog nooit met elixir snaren gehad maar dat was wel erg jammer. Ik had graag 5 sterren gegeven als dit niet was gebeurd :)
