The Ernie Ball Slinky is a set of six strings for your electric guitar. The wound strings are made of nickel-plated steel wrapped around a hexagonal steel core. The non-wound strings are made of specially hardened tin-plated carbon steel. Together, they deliver a balanced, warm and bright sound and long life. Suitable for many types of music, this set contains 4 pieces of this string set.
The non-wound strings in this set are from a 010 string set. This allows you to push up notes easily for solos, for example. However, things get interesting with the wound strings, as there the diameters increase quite a bit. Thanks to these thicker strings, you get a fuller sound when playing chords. But it is also ideal for drop-D and lower tunings. Slinky electric strings are made with the finest and purest raw materials. All Ernie Ball strings are packed in hermetically sealed packaging to ensure the strings remain as fresh as the day they were made.
