General
The Dime Guitarz Culprit Blacktooth brings Dimebag Darrell’s legendary design within reach. This electric guitar is based on the original Custom Shop model that Darrell himself designed and combines a striking appearance with an uncompromising playing experience. The set-neck construction, mahogany body with a flamed maple top and three-piece maple neck ensure powerful sustain, plenty of resonance and a solid foundation for heavy riffs and lightning-fast solos. Thanks to the padded gig bag included, you can also safely take the Culprit with you to rehearsals, gigs and studio sessions.
Designed for the ultimate metal sound
The Culprit Blacktooth is fitted with a Seymour Duncan SH-13 Dimebucker in the bridge position and a Seymour Duncan SH-1n ’59 in the neck position. This combination delivers the aggressive attack, tight bass response and rich harmonics for which Dimebag Darrell was renowned, whilst also keeping warm solo and clean tones within easy reach. Both volume controls feature a push/pull function for coil splitting. In addition, the master tone control activates the integrated DimeBooster, which adds up to 15 dB of extra gain. This innovative boost is rechargeable via USB-C, making separate 9V batteries a thing of the past.
Reliable hardware and comfortable playability
For maximum tuning stability, the Culprit is fitted with a Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo combined with Grover-style locking tuners. This ensures the guitar stays perfectly in tune, even during intensive tremolo use. The ebony fingerboard with a compound radius of 12 to 16 inches offers a comfortable playing experience for both rhythm work and fast solos. The 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets ensure a long lifespan and smooth playability. Diamond Plate inlays featuring Dime’s Razorblade at the twelfth fret and a matching headstock complete the look perfectly.
