General
The Dime Guitarz Culprit Cherry Bomb is based on the legendary design developed by Dimebag Darrell in 1998. This electric guitar combines the character of the original USA Custom Shop model with modern functionality and high-quality components. The glued-in neck construction, mahogany body with a flamed maple top and three-piece maple neck ensure powerful sustain, plenty of resonance and a comfortable playing experience. Thanks to the padded gig bag included, you can transport the guitar safely to rehearsals, studio sessions and gigs.
The characteristic Dimebag sound
To deliver the recognisable Dimebag sound, the Culprit Cherry Bomb is fitted with a Seymour Duncan SH-13 Dimebucker in the bridge position and a Seymour Duncan SH-1n ’59 in the neck position. This combination delivers an aggressive attack, tight bass response and rich harmonics, whilst also allowing warm clean tones and smooth solos to shine. Both volume controls feature a push/pull function for coil splitting. In addition, the master tone control activates the integrated DimeBooster, which delivers up to 15 dB of extra gain without the need for a 9V battery. Charging is simple via USB-C.
Built for intensive use
The Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo offers excellent tuning stability, even with intensive use of the tremolo arm. Combined with Grover-style locking tuners, the guitar continues to perform reliably on stage. The ebony fingerboard with a compound radius of 12 to 16 inches feels comfortable whether playing chords or fast solos. The 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets ensure a long lifespan and smooth playability. Diamond Plate inlays featuring Dime’s Razorblade at the twelfth fret and the matching headstock give this Culprit a distinctive look.
