General
The Dime Guitarz Culprit Tobacco Sunburst brings Dimebag Darrell’s legendary design within reach. This electric guitar is based on his original 1998 design and takes the characteristic shape, tone and playing experience of the USA Custom Shop model as its starting point. Thanks to its glued-in neck construction, a mahogany body with a flame maple top and a three-piece maple neck, the Culprit offers plenty of sustain, a powerful attack and excellent playing comfort. The padded gig bag included ensures you can safely transport the guitar to rehearsals, recording sessions or gigs.
Dimebag sound with modern extras
The tone is delivered by two high-quality Seymour Duncan humbuckers. The bridge position features the SH-13 Dimebucker, whilst the neck is fitted with an SH-1n ’59. Both pickups feature a push/pull coil-split, allowing you to use not only powerful humbucker tones but also brighter, single-coil-style sounds. Another unique feature is the integrated DimeBooster. Pulling the master tone control activates a gain boost of up to 15 dB without the need for a 9V battery. Charging is simple via the built-in USB-C port.
Built for intensive stage use
For maximum reliability, the Culprit is fitted with a Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo and Grover-style locking tuning machines. This ensures the guitar stays perfectly in tune, even with heavy tremolo use. The ebony fingerboard has a compound radius of 12 to 16 inches and features 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets for a fast, comfortable playing experience. Diamond Plate inlays featuring Dime’s Razorblade logo at the twelfth fret, a matching headstock and the beautiful Tobacco Sunburst finish round this guitar off perfectly.
