General

The Random Star R Red is a striking electric guitar for guitarists seeking a powerful look and an immediate playing experience. The alder body is combined with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, ensuring a familiar feel and an immediate response. With a scale length of 648 millimetres and 22 frets, the guitar offers plenty of scope for both heavy riffs and melodic lead parts. The distinctive star-shaped body and red finish also make it a real head-turner.

Akira Takasaki Random Star R: built for rock and metal

For a powerful passive tone, the guitar features two ESP LH-200 humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. The Floyd Rose FRT-1000 double-locking tremolo offers plenty of scope for expressive vibrato effects and deep divebombs, whilst the lockable R2 nut helps to keep the tuning stable. Thanks to the 42-millimetre-wide nut, 12-inch fingerboard radius and intuitive controls with master volume and pickup selector switch, the guitar remains comfortable and responsive to play. This makes the Random Star R Red ideally suited to energetic rock and metal.
