General

The ESP LTD M-6 Baritone ET Black Metal II is built for tight low-end tuning and modern metal riffs. With its 30-inch scale length, your intonation remains stable in dropped tunings, whilst the mahogany body with maple top provides a solid foundation with extra definition. The 3-piece maple neck with an Extra Thin U-profile and 24 XJ stainless steel frets makes fast, precise playing second nature. The Makassar ebony fingerboard with a 350 mm radius feels direct and tight, and the Black Redburst Satin finish gives it that signature Black Metal II look.

EverTune and active Mortal Coil

The standout feature of this M-6 is the EverTune bridge: ideal if you’re looking for maximum tuning stability and consistent attack, even with aggressive palm muting or hard strumming. On the bridge side is a Seymour Duncan Mortal Coil 3-Voice active pickup, which allows you to switch quickly between different tone characters via the voice selection toggle. The controls remain straightforward: volume and a voicing switch. It comes factory-strung with D’Addario XL156 (.024/.034/.044/.056/.072/.084) strings, perfectly suited to the baritone concept. Please note: an MH XL FORM FIT Case is available, but is not included.
