ESP Guitars and Slipknot guitarist Mick Thomson have teamed up to design a brutal metal machine. The result is this MT-I in Black Satin. Thomson opted for a mahogany Horizon body with a top made of ash, making every note cut through the mix extra well. This ripping board is loaded with a Fishman Fluence Mick Thomson Signature humbucker. Thanks to the mini-switch and push/pull volume knob, you can choose between three different voicings, making this no-nonsense electric guitar surprisingly versatile after all. The ESP LTD Mick Thomson MT-1 comes complete with a robust form fit case.Black Satin. MT-I Mick Thomson: high-quality construction

The ESP LTD MT-1 has a heelless set-thru construction. This makes all 24 stainless steel frets on the ebony fingerboard easy to play. It also contributes to a nice long sustain. This Mick Thomson signature model has a comfortable Thin U neck profile. A salient detail is that the back of the neck has a satin finish, so the neck won't get sticky easily even during long gigs. Thanks to the Hipshot Grip-Lock Open tuners and High Mass bridge, changing strings is an easy job. In short, with this axe you can hit the stage with full confidence and give the most intense performance.
