This WA-Warbird SE Navy is heavy metal shredder Will Adler's signature model and the bigger brother to the WA-200 Black Camo. One of this model's remarkable features is the set-thru neck construction, just like on the more expensive ESP version. Additionally, this guitar is equipped with a set of Seymour Duncan pickups and the camo pattern has been replaced by a beautiful Navy-blue lacquer and wicked red Warbird graphic.

LTD WA Warbird SE Navy: big, tight sound

This exceptional shredder has an Eclipse-model body made of mahogany. Its neck is made of maple and is set into the body, allowing the heel to be compact and streamlined for added playing comfort at the higher positions. Furthermore, this neck construction gives the guitar lengthier sustain. The 22-fret fretboard is made of ebony and sports bird skull with two bullets inlays. Thanks to the mahogany, maple and ebony, the LTD WA-Warbird SE produces a big, clear and tight sound.

Hardware and pickups

The WA Warbird SE Navy is equipped with LTD locking machine heads for faster string changes and a more stable tuning. Adler chose a combination of a Tune-O-Matic and a tailpiece to function as a bridge that is able to withstand his intense performances and savage guitar playing. The pickups on this guitar are none other than Seymour Duncan pickups, a powerful SH-4 JB humbucker at the bridge - to take care of the rough stuff - and a more vintage-style '59 humbucker in the neck position for warm, clear cleans and leads.
