One of the most recognisable models to come out of the Horizon Series, the ESP Horizon-I electric guitar was a mainstay of late eighties and early nineties rock. With the Original Series Edition of the Horizon-I, ESP shift up the power by loading on an HS pickup configuration, where a Seymour Duncan TB-6 Distortion humbucker takes up the bridge position to deliver the power, while a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails single-coil sits at the neck to deliver ultra-variable tone. The ESP Original Series Horizon-I: Solid Playability

Like most ESP creations, this edition of the Horizon-I has been fully set up for speed. The three-piece maple neck extends right through the alder body, resulting in a model that bears outstanding resonance and masses of sustain. The ebony fretboard, meanwhile, has been kitted out with twenty-four extra-jumbo frets and a 12 inch radius to lighten the feel beneath your fingers and support fast and agile playability. Another sweet, modern detail is the Original Floyd Rose Locking bridge, which guarantees solid tuning stability alongside extreme vibrato effects.
