General

Fazley's Maverick Plus HH is a striking electric for the guitarist who wants something a little different. That's because this model from the Outlaw series is made of an ash body with a hand-stained finish. As the wood grain comes out beautifully, each one immediately takes on a character all its own. To underline this rugged vibe, the offset body is loaded with two powerful humbuckers fitted with a chrome element cap on a 3-ply black pickguard. Comes complete with a handy gig bag to store the guitar in.

Outlaw Series Maverick Plus: Fine neck

Naturally, ease of playing cannot be left behind, which is why Fazley has fitted the Maverick Plus HH with a roasted maple neck and fingerboard. Because the excess moisture has been removed from this maple wood, it becomes extra stable. You can hear and feel this while playing. The 22 medium frets also contribute to the high playing comfort. Thanks to the TOM bridge with string-through-body, you can easily tune the guitar. In combination with the Graph Tech TUSQ nut, you can also count on excellent resonance and pure intonation.

I continue to be amazed by the value of Bax music and their Fazley Guitars. This is my second buy and having gone up in budget, I'm still in awe of what I've been granted for the price paid. General quality is great, but the standout feature as stated by others on this Guitar is the superb neck. If the look appeals, buy in confidence.

Absolutely love this guitar. Amazing value and particularly love the colour of the body with the visible wood grain. The neck is very comfortable and there were no sharp fret-ends. No negatives to mention at all to be honest. I play mainly Fender telecasters and Jazzmasters and this new addition really holds its own against these more expensive guitars. Highly recommended!

Absolutely outstanding guitar for the money paid! I'm primarily a (standard) strat/tele player, so all about single coils. But had an itch for a guitar with full sized humbuckers and didn't want to spend too much money. This thing delivers in spades. Really good fun guitar to play.
The neck is really comfortable to play. Fret ends are fine. Minor criticisms are that the "new" strings were a bit oxidised and the frets were a bit tarnished (though not gritty). Neither are big deals for me. I prefer 10s over 9s, so those strings were always coming off. And you could see the frets cleaning up after a short amount of play time. I can only assume the guitar had sat in a warehouse for a little while.
Other thing to point out is that the fret radius feels quite flat to me. The specs above say 9.5". I've not measured it, but feels more like a 12" to me. Though with it being HH pickups, maybe not a bad thing.
Overall this is exceptional value for money. And it looks absolutely fantastic. I'm really chuffed with my purchase. :-)

Incredible guitar for it's modest price tag. With such a professional finish, build and playability I was quite frankly astonished and delighted. Well finished fret ends, no buzzing even when cranked up.The staggered pole humbuckers deliver a clear rich tone with ample sustain. Good neck and tuning stability and balance. You'd be forgiven in thinking that you'd bought a higher end guitar. I really wasn't expecting such good quality for such a humble price. A nicely designed guitar... it's hard to put down!
