General
The Framus Artist Line Breaker Series WH-1 FR is the Wolf Hoffmann signature model from the Breaker Series, built for players seeking tightness, attack and reliability. The poplar body with a flamed mahogany top (veneer) provides a balanced foundation, whilst the maple set-neck construction adds extra sustain and responsiveness. The Nirvana Black Transparent High Polish finish allows the wood to shine through beautifully and gives the guitar a stylish, stage-ready look. With 24 stainless steel frets and a 25.5-inch scale length, this is a serious workhorse of a guitar.
Powerful Fluence sound with extra options
When it comes to electronics, you’re in good hands with the Fishman Fluence Wolf Hoffmann Signature set: a single-coil at the neck and a humbucker at the bridge. This delivers clear cleans, tight rhythm parts and a solid lead sound with plenty of definition. The CRL 3-way switch lets you quickly select your pickup combinations, whilst the MEC push/pull volume pot allows you to switch easily between humbucker voicings. Handy if you need multiple tone characters during a set without extra pedals or complicated switches.
Playing comfort, hardware and what’s included
The WH-1 plays smoothly thanks to its 12-inch radius, ‘small and high’ stainless steel frets and Invisible Fretwork Technology (IFT) with rounded fret ends. Fluorescent green Luminlay side dots also help you in low light. For tremolo work, there’s a Floyd Rose 1000 Series Original Style tremolo system with a matching Floyd Rose 1000 locking nut (R2), complemented by Grover 102BC tuners and Warwick S-style security locks. It comes with a Framus Artist Line 15 mm padded V-bag, plus accessories and a Certificate of Authenticity.
