General
The Framus Artist Line Breaker Series WH-1 TOM is the Wolf Hoffmann signature model for guitarists seeking a powerful, clear sound and a comfortable playing experience. This right-handed 6-string electric guitar features a poplar body with a flamed mahogany top (veneer), combined with a maple neck in a set-neck construction for excellent sustain and a direct attack. The Nirvana Black Transparent High Polish finish allows the wood grain to show through beautifully and gives the WH-1 a luxurious, stage-ready look.
Fishman Fluence electronics
For the tone, Framus relies on Fishman Fluence Wolf Hoffmann Signature pickups: a single-coil at the neck and a humbucker at the bridge. This gives you both sparkling clean tones and tight, aggressive riffs and lead tones with plenty of definition. The CRL 3-way pickup selector switch allows you to switch between positions quickly. The MEC push/pull volume potentiometer is particularly handy, as it lets you access different humbucker voicings. This makes it easy to switch between multiple tones without the need for additional switches.
Hardware, playability and finish
The WH-1 TOM is built for smooth and fast playing: 24 ‘small and high’ stainless steel frets with Invisible Fretwork Technology (IFT) and rounded fret ends, a 12-inch radius and a 25.5-inch scale length. Fluorescent green Luminlay side dots help you in low light. The TonePros Tune-O-Matic Bridge T3BT-B ensures stable intonation, with a Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut for smooth tuning. You’ll also receive a 15 mm padded Framus V-bag, accessories and a Certificate of Authenticity.
