General
The Framus Artist Line Shark Series WH-1 FR is the Wolf Hoffmann signature model that puts that unmistakable Accept power right in your hands. This right-handed 6-string V-shape is designed as a pure performance machine: sleek, fast and ready for serious gain. The combination of a mahogany body and a set-neck construction with a flamed maple neck ensures sustain and a solid foundation. Add to that the 25.5-inch (648 mm) scale length, and you know this is a guitar that responds instantly. The Solid Charcoal Metallic Satin finish makes it both stylish and rugged.
Playing comfort for live and studio use
The Tigerstripe ebony fingerboard with Mother-of-Pearl block pyramid inlays not only looks great but also feels solid. With 24 ‘small and high’ stainless steel frets and Invisible Fretwork Technology (IFT), the fret ends are perfectly rounded, ensuring that slides and fast runs remain smooth to the touch. The 12-inch (305 mm) radius is well-suited to modern playing styles, from tight riffs to technical solos. And because lighting on stage isn’t always bright enough, fluorescent green Luminlay side dots (2.5 mm) have been fitted: handy when it gets really dark.
Fluence sound and Floyd Rose control
For its sound, this WH-1 FR is fitted with the Fishman Fluence Wolf Hoffmann Signature Set: a single-coil at the neck and a humbucker at the bridge. The MEC push/pull volume pot lets you switch to the humbucker ‘Voice’ mapping for extra tone options, whilst the CRL 3-way switch ensures quick, clear pickup selection. For dive-ins and tremolo work, there’s a Floyd Rose 1000 Series Original Style Tremolo System with a Floyd Rose 1000 Series R2 locking nut. Grover 502BC locking tuners and Warwick S-style security locks complete the package. Includes a deluxe V-bag and accessories.
