Product information

General
With the Framus Artist Line Shark Series WH-1, you can bring the signature power of Accept guitarist Wolf Hoffmann into your home. This right-handed 6-string V-guitar is built to rock on stage, but thanks to its clever design details, it also feels instantly familiar in the studio. The Nirvana Black Transparent High Polish finish gives it a stylish, aggressive look, complete with the distinctive WH-1 2D headstock featuring the Framus logo and Wolf Hoffmann’s signature. And as this is a complete set, you’ll also receive a luxury V-gig bag and handy accessories straight away.
Construction & Playability
The body is made from mahogany with a solid flamed mahogany top, combined with a set-neck made from flamed maple in a comfortable C-shape. The neck has a natural oil finish with Stinger lacquer, allowing your hand to glide smoothly along the 25.5-inch (648 mm) scale length. The Tigerstripe ebony fingerboard features mother-of-pearl block pyramid inlays, plus fluorescent green Luminlay side dots to help you keep your fingering precise even on dark stages. The 24 ‘small and high’ stainless steel frets with Invisible Fretwork Technology (IFT) are perfectly rounded for tight and fast playing.
Sound, hardware & what’s included
In terms of electronics, this is a versatile, powerful signature model: a Fishman Fluence Wolf Hoffmann Signature single-coil at the neck and a matching humbucker at the bridge. The MEC push/pull volume pot lets you switch the humbucker’s ‘Voice’, whilst the CRL 3-way switch allows you to quickly select your pickup position. The TonePros Tune-O-Matic T3BT-B bridge, Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut and Grover 502BC (locking) tuning machines ensure tuning stability and solid sustain. You’ll receive, amongst other things, a 25 mm padded Artist Line V-bag with embroidery, a strap, 6 signature picks, a RockCare protector, a cleaning cloth, tools, a manual and a certificate.
