Product information
Product no: 9000-0157-4525
General
With the Framus Artist Line Shark Series WH-1, you can bring the signature power of Accept guitarist Wolf Hoffmann into your home. This right-handed 6-string electric guitar combines the iconic V-shape with a Solid Creme White High Polish finish, a WH-1 2D headstock and Hoffmann’s signature. Under the bonnet, you’ll find a mahogany body and a set-neck construction with a flamed maple neck (C-profile) which, thanks to the Stinger lacquer and natural oil finish, feels smooth and responsive across the full 25.5-inch scale length.
Playability & finish
The “Tigerstripe” ebony fingerboard with Mother of Pearl block pyramid inlays isn’t just eye-catching; it’s also built for serious playing. With 24 ‘small and high’ stainless steel frets and Invisible Fretwork Technology (perfectly rounded fret ends), you can effortlessly play bends, fast runs and tight riffs. Extra handy on dark stages: the fluorescent green Luminlay side dots (2.5 mm). Add to that the 12-inch radius and you’ve got a modern, sleek feel that’s right at home in rock and metal, yet remains surprisingly versatile.
Sound, hardware & complete set
In terms of electronics, this is a true performance machine: a Fishman Fluence Wolf Hoffmann Signature single-coil at the neck and a Fishman Fluence Wolf Hoffmann Signature humbucker at the bridge. The MEC push/pull volume pot allows you to switch the humbucker’s ‘Voice’ mapping, whilst the CRL 3-way switch enables quick pickup selection. The TonePros Tune-O-Matic T3BT-B bridge, Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut and Grover 502BC locking tuners ensure stability, together with Warwick S-style Security Locks. Includes a premium 25 mm padded Framus Artist Line V-bag, strap, picks and more.
