General

The JT-30 Gold is part of JET Guitars' Elite Series, and for a reason! JET Guitars is known for their affordable instruments of surprisingly good quality. But this premium guitar also has the same high-quality build quality and is tuned upon arrival. For instance, the golden body is constructed from 3-piece poplar (lime), which provides fine resonance and a smooth, open sound that you would expect from a good telecaster. What stands out is the C-section neck made of quarter-sawn, lightly toasted maple wood. That toasting is a wood treatment that compacts the structure of the wood and makes the neck more stable with changes in humidity. The JT-30's maple fingerboard has undergone the same treatment and is pleasant to play thanks to its 9.5-inch radius. The body is complemented by a fibreglass pickguard that gives it an industrial and tough look.

Classic sound, modern playing comfort

With an electric guitar, quality pickups are of great importance. JET has chosen custom Alnico SS pickups with the JT-30. These deliver a bright, focused tone. And where the bridge pickup gives a slightly warmer sound, you get a slightly more open sound from the neck pickup. With a 3-way switch and the familiar volume and tone controls, tuning your sound is a breeze! Furthermore, the JT-30 comes with Wilkinson hardware, including the WTB bridge and WJ-55 vintage tuning machines. These are quality parts known for their stability and tuning stability. For some extra protection on the road, the guitar comes with an included gig bag, so you don't have to worry about the safety of your instrument!
