General

The Schecter Banshee Mach-6 FR S is a high-quality electric guitar for guitarists seeking maximum playability and versatility. The body is made from swamp ash and features a beautifully shaped top of flamed maple. The through-body neck construction, made from roasted maple and purpleheart, delivers immediate resonance and long sustain. Thanks to the Ultra Access neck-to-body joint, you have effortless access to all 24 frets, even in the highest positions. The ebony fretboard has a compound radius of 12 to 16 inches and is fitted with stainless steel X-Jumbo frets.

Lundgren and Sustainiac

In terms of electronics, the Banshee Mach-6 FR S is exceptionally versatile. The Lundgren M6 in the bridge position delivers a powerful, defined tone with plenty of punch, whilst the Sustainiac in the neck position provides virtually endless sustain. With the volume, tone and intensity controls, the 3-way pickup selector and the separate Sustainiac switches, you can fine-tune the tone and sustain. The three Sustainiac modes – Fundamental, Mix and Harmonic – also offer different ways to create long, expressive notes and feedback-like effects.

Floyd Rose 1500

For intensive use, this Banshee is fitted with a Floyd Rose 1500 Series double-locking tremolo. This allows you to perform deep dives and extreme bends without the guitar going out of tune quickly. The Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuning machines ensure precise tuning, whilst the black chrome hardware contrasts beautifully with the Fallout Burst finish. The Ultra Thin U-neck feels responsive and comfortable, making both technical riffs and lead parts a pleasure to play. The guitar comes with D’Addario Regular Light NYXL strings in gauges .010 to .046; the matching Schecter SCSGR-1C case is available separately.
