General

The Schecter C-1 FR S 50th Anniversary is an exclusive anniversary model with which Schecter is celebrating 50 years of instrument-making. The guitar combines a resonant Swamp Ash body with a multi-layered neck made of maple, walnut and padauk. Thanks to the through-neck construction with Ultra Access, access to the higher frets is excellent. The striking 50th Gold Burst finish is complemented by black and gold hardware, whilst the ebony fretboard features distinctive offset brass ring inlays. With its modern construction, luxurious finish and striking appearance, this is an electric guitar that makes an impression both on stage and in the studio.

Fast and comfortable playing feel

The neck has an Ultra Thin C-profile and a compound fingerboard radius of 12 to 16 inches. This makes the fingerboard feel comfortable for both chords and fast solos and bends. The 24 X-Jumbo frets are made of stainless steel, ensuring a very smooth playing feel and high wear resistance. The scale length is 25.5 inches (648 mm) and the nut is 41.3 mm wide. The Floyd Rose locking nut and the Floyd Rose 1500 bridge combine to form a double-locking tremolo system, allowing you to perform powerful vibratos and extreme bends without quickly losing tuning stability.

Anniversary electronics with Sustainiac

In terms of tone, the C-1 FR S 50th Anniversary features a Schecter Sunset Strip Anniversary Edition pickup in the bridge position and a Gold Sustainiac in the neck position. The bridge humbucker delivers a powerful, modern sound with plenty of definition for heavy riffs and lead parts, whilst the Sustainiac provides long-lasting sustain and expressive overtones. The controls consist of master volume, master tone, a 3-way switch and two separate Sustainiac mini-switches. TonePros M-Series tuning machines complete the hardware. The guitar comes with D’Addario Regular Light NYXL 1046 strings; the matching SCSGR-1C case is available separately.
