General

The Schecter Damien Platinum-6 LH is a left-handed electric guitar from the striking Damien Platinum series. The combination of the Satin Black finish, Satin Chrome hardware, silver/platinum multi-layer binding and distinctive Platinum Bats inlays creates a striking appearance. The body is made of mahogany and features a arched top. The glued three-piece maple neck with Ultra Access offers comfortable access to the higher frets. Thanks to the 25.5-inch scale length, the Thin C neck profile and the 24 X-Jumbo frets, this guitar is ideal for fast riffs, powerful chords and technical lead work.

Powerful EMG pickups

The Damien Platinum-6 LH is fitted with two active EMG humbuckers: an EMG 81 in the bridge position and an EMG 85 in the neck position. The EMG 81 is renowned for its tight, aggressive character and really comes into its own with high-gain amplification. The EMG 85 delivers a fuller, warmer tone from the neck position. Using the volume and tone controls and the 3-way switch, you can easily switch between the available tones. The active electronics are powered by a 9V battery, which is easy to insert thanks to the clip-in battery compartment.

Tune-O-Matic and String-Thru-Body

Instead of a tremolo system, this left-handed Damien features a Tune-O-Matic bridge with String Thru Body. This design provides a stable foundation and direct string response, whilst the strings running through the body contribute to sustain. The Grover tuners ensure precise tuning and complement the Satin Chrome hardware. The guitar comes with D’Addario Regular Light NYXL 1046 strings (.010–.046), as per the product specifications provided. A matching case is not included, but the Schecter SCSGR-UNIV1 is available separately. The Damien Platinum-6 LH is therefore a versatile choice for left-handed players seeking a powerful rock and metal sound.
