General
The Schecter Hellraiser C-7 FR LH is a high-quality 7-string electric guitar for left-handed guitarists who refuse to compromise. The combination of a mahogany body with a beautiful quilted maple top, a glued mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard provides a solid foundation for a powerful and versatile tone. Thanks to the extra-long 26.5-inch scale length, even the low seventh string remains tight and well-defined. The 24 X-Jumbo frets and the comfortable Thin C neck profile also make this Hellraiser ideally suited to fast and technical playing.
Powerful active EMG pickups
The tone is delivered by two active EMG 707TW humbuckers, with both the bridge and neck pickups featuring a push-pull function for additional tonal possibilities. The pickups deliver a tight, powerful and well-defined sound that really comes into its own with heavy overdrive and high-gain amplifiers. The combination of the active electronics and the 7-string configuration makes the Hellraiser C-7 FR LH particularly well-suited to metal, but also to modern rock styles where a rich tone and a solid low-frequency response are desired. The Black Chrome hardware and Black Cherry finish complete the look.
Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo
The Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo offers extensive possibilities for subtle vibrato effects and extreme bends, whilst the locking nut and Grover tuners contribute to stable tuning. The neck features a Set-Neck design with Ultra Access, giving you easy access even in the higher positions. The 24 X-Jumbo frets, 16-inch fingerboard radius and 47.6 mm wide nut are designed for comfortable playing with seven strings. The guitar comes fitted with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 7 #2621 strings in .010-.056. A matching SCSGR-UNIV1 case is available separately.
