To bring the necessary gain and sustain, a Schecter USA Sunset Strip dual-coil has been planted at the bridge. This fat pup features a ceramic magnetic core that supports a broad dynamic range and some sweet, natural compression, all of which translates into pure mix-slicing power. To balance the output with crystal cleans and a touch of bite, the Schecter USA Pasadena dual-coil at the neck has an Alnico V magnetic core which, just like the bridge pickup can be coil-split to release a single-coil style voicing.
