General

The Sire Larry Carlton L7N Amber Burst is a modern take on the classic single-cut electric guitar, developed in collaboration with Larry Carlton. Thanks to its mahogany body with weight relief and a hard maple top, this guitar combines powerful sustain with a comfortable playing experience. The beautiful Amber Burst finish and stylish design give it a timeless look, whilst the New Gen upgrades ensure it is ready to meet the demands of today’s guitarist. This model is suitable for a wide range of musical styles, from blues and rock to pop and jazz.

New Gen playing comfort and high-quality finish

The New Gen series stands out thanks to a number of key improvements. For instance, the set mahogany neck features a comfortable C-profile and an ebony fingerboard with rounded edge profiles for a smooth playing feel. The compound radius, 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets and the Graph Tech Tusq XL nut contribute to precise playability and a long lifespan. In addition, Lumilay side dots ensure that the position markers remain clearly visible even on dark stages. The premium locking tuners also maintain a reliable tuning.

Versatile humbuckers and reliable hardware

The specially tuned LC Vintage-2 humbuckers deliver a warm, classic tone with sufficient definition for both powerful chords and expressive solos. Brighter coil-split tones are also available via the 3-way switch and the push/pull function on the tone controls. The modern Tune-O-Matic bridge, combined with the aluminium stop tailpiece, contributes to stable intonation, rich sustain and precise tuning. This makes the Sire Larry Carlton L7N Amber Burst a versatile electric guitar that performs superbly both on stage and in the studio.
