The Majesty is undoubtedly the crown jewel in the John Petrucci Signature series and this innovative electric guitar is now available in an attractively-priced Sterling by Music Man version. Thanks to the ergonomically-shaped mahogany body, each of the 24 medium frets is easily accessible and the flat 16-inch radius makes it easier to press down the strings too.

Majesty: Modern Masterpiece

The Dream Theater guitarist choose to put a push/pull volume potentiometer on this Sterling Majesty so that you've got an active 12 dB volume boost at your disposal whenever you want your sound to really stand out. The modern, floating 2-point tremolo makes it easy to add all sorts of vibrato effects to your playing too without the instrument going out of tune. Locking machine heads mean it's easier to change the strings as well.

John Petrucci: Versatile guitar hero

John Petrucci is an American guitarist, composer and producer who's best known as the founder and lead guitarist in progressive metal band Dream Theater. His 'Rock Discipline' instructional video is seen as The Bible for many aspiring rock guitarists. His playing style is characterised by his technical skills and lightning-fast alternate picking. He also regularly plays a 7-string electric guitar giving him even more scope for his stunning solos.

Wrote the following about Sterling by Music Man Majesty Arctic Dream

Heel toevallig kwam ik deze gitaar tegen. Ik wilde graag een JP Majesty USA maar de prijs was te hoog voor mij. Moet ik een tijdje voor sparen. Nu kwam ik deze Sterling majesty tegen. Een fantastische gitaar! Licht, fijne C shape hals, in balans, klinkt heel vet maar ook met sprankelend hoog. Voor metal en vele andere muziekstijlen, wellicht te exotisch voor sommigen. Gemakkelijk bereik van de hoogste regionen op de hals. Een veelzijdige gitaar waarvan het design en het geluid gelijk opgaan. Ik weet dat het design niet voor iedereen het is maar vele gitaristen zijn erg terughoudend als het om innovatie gaat. Het is zijn geld dubbel en dwars waard. Een aanrader!!
