General

Solid wood doesn’t have to be expensive. Cort demonstrates this with the PURE-GA electro-acoustic acoustic-style guitar. The Grand Auditorium body in solid mahogany with a solid spruce top is something you’d normally find in the higher price range. The cutaway gives you easy access to the highest frets, so no more faffing about when you want to play that one high chord! In terms of playing comfort, it’s also spot on: with an ovangkol fingerboard, the PURE-GA plays smoothly and feels familiar. The hand-scalloped X-bracing allows the top to vibrate more freely, resulting in an open and dynamic tone, whether you’re playing softly or loudly. Should you find yourself needing a bit more volume, you can effortlessly connect the Cort to an amplifier or PA system thanks to the built-in Fishman Sonitone electronics. The PURE-GA offers a solid foundation that will grow with your playing.
