General

Fazley brings with the FE118CBK an excellent electric-acoustic western guitar at a particularly competitive price. A striking feature of this dreadnought is the preamp with four-band equaliser and built-in tuner with display. This allows you to easily tune the guitar without having to carry a separate tuner. Another handy addition are the two strap buttons, to which you can attach a separately available guitar strap. In short, the Fazley is a good option for anyone looking for a good and affordable western guitar.

FE118CBK: Versatile sound

To get a fine sound from an acoustic guitar, the basics have to be right. That's why Fazley has equipped the FE118CBK with a spruce top. This type of wood contributes to a bright sound, giving chords a nice sparkling tone. In addition, the sides and back are made of mahogany. Not only does this tonewood look particularly classy, it also provides a warm sound accent. Nice detail is that two different pickguard stickers are included, so you can choose which look you like best.

High playing comfort

There are a number of aspects about the Fazley FE118CBK that contribute to high playing comfort. For instance, a relatively narrow nut of 42.5 millimetres has been chosen. This makes chords, for instance, easier to pick up than on models with a wide nut. The mahogany neck has a modern C-profile and immediately fits comfortably in the hand. Thanks to the cutaway in the body, all 20 frets on the roupana fingerboard are easy to reach, making solo parts no problem either. In short, both beginners and advanced players can have a lot of fun with this western guitar.

I purchased this guitar for my self, at the price you know that you are going to be doing a bit of setting up for yourself so I was not disappointed with what I received. I had to work on the nut as 2 of the strings were touching the first fret so out came the baking soda and superglue and I raised the string height at the nut, I used the strings it came with to check it and was not surprised when I broke the high E string, A decent set of Earnie Ball strings later and I had a reasonable sounding guitar. I wasn't bying a Taylor or a Martin I was buying a Fazley and so wasn't expecting Taylor results. Great guitar for the price range I am not disapointed.

Everything good except that I received it with faulty strings. First three wound strings had several missing loops and the low e string snapped on third day between nut and turner. Contacted Bax through email few times as well as through web form with photos but No response after almost a week. The web form states they get back to you within 24hr but they didn’t.
The instrument itself isn’t bad for the price and delivery was fast. Looks nice but I am beginner and cannot comment on the tone but sounded good before string snapped. Cannot use it until string is sorted.

I was great as I was not expecting the bag to be so soft and padded. I can imagine that my daughter will be able to fit a lot more things in the bag with the guitar. Its is light weight and can easily be wiped down if dirty.

Eenvoudige, maar goede elektrische akoestische western gitaar met ingebouwde stemapparaat.
Deze gitaar bevalt erg goed, waarmee ik de lessen van Jeroen goed mee kan oefenen. Ik heb begin dit jaar ook een Fazley ekektrische gitaar gekocht. Dit omdat ik altijd graag gitaar wilde leren spelen. De combinatie van deze twee gitaren bevalt mij erg goed. Nu ik met pensioen ben, heb ik eindelijk tijd om dit nu eens goed aan te pakken. Ik merk nu al dat ik dagelijks veel plezier beleef met het spelen.

kabel eigenlijk te stijf draaid zich in lus en de haakse plug lost onmiddelijk sluitings rubber en schroef, heb ze moeten vastlijmen , sorry maar daar zal de prijs wel iets mee te maken hebben.
