General

The Mackie Dante Expansion Card is a great way of extending your DL32R mixer's options. The Dante protocol enables you to exchange 32 x 32 audio channels with other Dante devices via an Ethernet cable. Exceptionally low latency is ensured, and freely routing inputs and outputs is a piece of cake. The included Dante Virtual Sound Card software makes it possible to transmit multi-channel audio directly to a PC or Mac.

Mackie seems to be on a roll at this year's NAMM. They've already introduced two pocket-sized digital mixers, but with their new DC16, they're approaching mixing from an entirely different angle. The DC16 Control Surface is far from small, but opens up a world of possibilities in combination with the DL32R mixer.
