This low-latency interface allows you set up any connection you want - from MADI to ADAT, from Thunderbolt to AES/EBU, you name it!
Characteristics of the Motu 112D
Add up all of the Motu 112D interface's digital channels, and you'll get to an astonishing total of 112 at a sample rate of 48 kHz. If you're prepared to trade in a few of those channels, however, you'll be able to achieve sample rates up to 192 kHz. Are you working on a project of monstrous proportions, and find yourself in danger of running out of channels? In that case, it's possible to link up to five MOTU AVB interfaces in a network, opening up a host of new possibilities. Fortunately, the 112D makes it easy to manage your setup; you can simply use a web app in your browser. Besides your PC, it's possible to use your laptop, smartphone or tablet, as long as they are wired. However, you can also connect a Wi-Fi router or Apple Airport to the 112D, which makes working wirelessly an option as well.

Please note:
- To use the AVB network you need a recent Mac with OS X Yosemite (10.10).
- The number of BNC MADI, AES/EBU and ADAT channels decreases as the sample rate increases.
