If you dare to think big, then the MOTU 624 audio interface is the perfect companion. This compact interface has outstanding converters and preamps as well as an AVB network connection. It's ideal for project studios or for making recordings on location, but just as suitable for monster jobs in combination with other devices with an AVB connection.

MOTU 624 features

With the MOTU 624, you've got eight analogue inputs at your disposal which are followed by an ESS Sabre32 converter. Via ADAT, you can add another eight analogue inputs and outputs and choose between USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt 2 connections. Motu 624

Wat een prima apparaat! Tenminste als je het aansluit via Thunderbolt. Wordt meteen herkend. M624 is niet groter dan een damestasje voor het Concertgebouw. Met goed uitgedachte besturingssoftware, zeer eenvoudig en veelzijdig. Een menigte aan ins en outs via een software matrix te bestemmen (o.a. van/naar computer, main out etc.). Vervangt in onze studio een 24 kanaals mengpaneel met outdated fysieke schuiven. Bij de Motu 624 komt een compleet software mengpaneel in de webbrowser. Bevat diverse modules, zoals eq, compressor-limiter en zo voort. Instellingen zijn per project op te slaan. Wie deze combinatie heeft uitgedacht - naar ik meen een bedrijf in Parijs - verdient een medaille. Zelden zoiets goeds, efficients en effectiefs in handen gehad. Geluidskwaliteit - gemeten en gehoormatig - absoluut op pro niveau, inclusief de mic en gitaar inputs. Absolute aanrader voor de veeleisende compact studio. M.i. ook heel geschikt voor live optreden bands. Slechts 1 minpuntje: matige reverb.
