General

The M64 audio interface by Motu is a remarkable, versatile interface that has MADI and network support and functions as a router, splitter and converter! Stream 128 audio channels via MADI, which are basically duplicated by the M64's BNC output, resulting in 265 channels in total. What's more, the channels can be distributed over the network via AVB/TSN, giving you total control over which input goes to which output. The M64 functions as a router, splitter and repeater!

DSP mixer and effects processor

On board the M64, you'll find a 48-channel mixer with seven stereo buses, three groups and access to sixty-four network inputs. What's more, you've got DSP for using high-quality hardware plugins and the M64 relieves your computer's processor completely. As well as a classic reverb and a modelled British analogue EQ, this interface features a legendary LA-2A and virtually no latency. Recording and mixing feels just like working on an analogue mixing console and the bright LCD display gives you a clear overview of the ingoing and outgoing signals.

Standalone functionality

There's also the option to use the M64 in standalone mode by connecting it via an Apple Airport or another router via Ethernet. You can then operate the M64 interface wirelessly in the network. The 48-channel mixer and DSP effects are fully accessible without having to hook the device up to your computer directly. You can also control the M64 from your smartphone or tablet using an app. this way, the M64 is accessible from every device within the same network.
