General

The YFL-262 is a flute from Yamaha. This nickel silver model is ideal for students who want to raise their level. Because it has ring valves, the flutist is forced to place his fingertips correctly, otherwise the valves "leak" and he cannot form good notes. You can also create sliding notes with ring valves. In fact, this difficult technique is not possible with closed valves. The flute uses an "offset-G", which means that the G-valve is slightly off-centre, making it easier to reach with your fingers. It comes with a nice hardened case to put the flute in.
