Hotone launch the Ampero Control: a compact Bluetooth MIDI controller that can be used to command stompbox effects, amp sim plug-ins, synthesizers and many more bits of kit. Here, a mere push of a button gives you access to exactly the parts of the chain you need, while the four footswitches can send out sixteen different MIDI messages at will, and you even have the option to hook up two expression pedals and gain control over delay speed and modulation effects. The Hotone Ampero Control can be used to toggle through presets, fire up or power down your stompboxes, start-and-stop your looper or any loops created in your DAW, and comes with a dedicated mobile app that offers smooth access to all of the parameters. This powerful MIDI controller can be powered via USB or using a 9V/18V power supply (not included).

Inmiddels is de app gelukkig ook bijgewerkt voor mijn nieuwe android telefoon en heb ik twee Hotone Ampero Control Bluetooth USB MIDI controllers. Heel fijn om bij andere apparaten zaken aan en uit te zetten of patches te selecteren..

Het is een ideaal apparaat om je gemaakte patches direct aan te sturen op je Hotone ampero stomp2. Deze laatste is ook een prachtig apparaat maar heeft maar drie pedalen om je gewenste effecten met de voet te selecteren. Met deze Ampero controle heb je 4 keuzes en het is midi dus je kunt daar nog 1 naast zetten en dan heb je acht patches om uit te kunnen kiezen tijdens het spelen. Ik koop er dus nog 1 want dan heb ik acht mogelijkheden.
Je kunt het makkelijkst dit ding instellen met een wat oudere android verzie (helaas) in een app. Om de goede patch te selecteren moet je de standaard voorgeprogrammeerde instellingen kiezen die horen bij de Ampero stomp dan het nummer vinden bij de juiste patch op je Ampero stomp. Dat is even uitvogelen en op you tube kijken.
Je kunt het makkelijkst dit ding instellen met een wat oudere android verzie (helaas) in een app. Om de goede patch te selecteren moet je de standaard voorgeprogrammeerde instellingen kiezen die horen bij de Ampero stomp dan het nummer vinden bij de juiste patch op je Ampero stomp. Een perfecte midicontroller. Geheel in te stellen met cc en notes. De twee extra ingangen zijn ideaal voor nog een dubbele foot switch en een exp pedal. Het exp pedaal gaat wel wat schokkerig door de waardes heen, maar dat ligt denk ik aan t pedaal. App is redelijk eenvoudig. Helaas voor de android app is mijn telefoon te nieuw, dus dat is wat minder. Ik gebruik de midi controller in combinatie met een ipad, zoom 24 interface en de app loopy HD. Ik heb de best mogelijke looper setup nu. Ben heel blij.

ik heb de app van de hotone site geplukt en die werkt, midi is kinderlijk eenvoudig als je de midi nummers hebt van de presets die je wilt inprogrameren. ik schakel mijn strymon mobius en het werkt prima

Ik heb deze controller gekocht om te gebruiken in combinatie met een Headrush Gigboard. Met behulp van de Ampero Control app is het heel eenvoudig om de Ampero control te configureren voor de Gigboard. Het product komt standaard met een voeding, dus er is alleen nog een 5pins MIDI kabel nodig. Ik heb het product geen 5 sterren gegeven omdat er geen app beschikbaar is in de Google Play Store, maar alleen in de Apple Store.
