Get the most out of your Peavey Vyper amp with this purpose-made Sanpera I footswitch. Fitted with four controls, this small but robust, road-ready pedal enables you to toggle through four presets across three banks, activate the on-board 30-second looper and tweak the volume, pitch shifter and wah and whammy effects using the expression pedal. The Sanpera I is powered using the included 8-pin MIDI cable and is compatible with all Vyper amp models equipped with a foot switch input.
The Peavey Sanpera I: Three Modes
The Sanpera I offers three user modes. In Preset mode, the four controls are used to toggle the four sounds saved to one of the preset banks, and to select different bank, all you got to do is simply press button 1 and button 2 at the same time. After selecting a bank, the footswitch automatically returns to Preset mode. To activate the looper, simply press buttons 3 and 4 at the same time, after which the four controls are assigned the following functions: stompbox on/off, delay on/off, record/play and stop/reset.
Multifunctional Expression Pedal
The expression pedal of the Sanpera I offers two functions that are indicated by a green LED (Main) and a red LED (aux). By default, the pedal is set to Main and serves as a volume pedal. By de-pressing the toe area, the pedal can be switched to AUX mode where it can be used as a wah-wah pedal or, in case pitch shift is active, used as a whammy pedal to control the pitch.
Tips or comments about this product
- Please note: This footswitch is not compatible with the Vyper 15 and Nano Vyper since neither has a footswitch input.
