General
The Yamaha MP HR 32D4 mouthpiece for French horn features the largest double cup in this line-up. It produces a dark, heavy sound, and using this model makes it easier to hit the lowest notes. This mouthpiece is also ideal for the Wagner tuba (AKA Bayreuth tube or Waldhorn tuba).
Standard Series
Mouthpieces come in all shapes and sizes because the smallest millimetre difference can change the entire timbre and performance of an instrument. That means it's worth the time and effort to find a mouthpiece that is comfortable for you and your personal style. Luckily, Yamaha offers over a hundred unique mouthpieces for brass instruments, divided into four series, of which the Standard series is the largest. While each mouthpiece is unique, they all offer excellent sound, weight and performance.
