General

The design of the DiMarzio DP 104FBK Super 2 guitar pickup is directly inspired by the original DiMarzio Super Distortion. The main difference, however, is that the EQ is shifted up a bit, resulting in a pickup where the emphasis is mainly on the higher frequencies. This pickup fits best in the neck position and combines very well with a Super Distortion bridge humbucker or similar. This element is F-spaced and thus specifically suited to guitars with, for example, a Floyd Rose.
