General
With the DiMarzio DP 211BC Eric Johnson Custom Neck pickup, you get a humbucker in the house, where the focus is mainly on the high frequencies. The result is a pickup that has many similar sound characteristics of a single-coil pickup, but of course in humbucker form. Despite its focus in the highs, the pickup does not sound thin and is very stable in the low end. Therefore, in a distorted sound, this element does not get muddy and the high continues to come through for a clear sound.
