General

The sound characteristics of the original 6-string Evolution Bridge guitar element sound almost like a perfect description for a 7-string element. That's why the choice to create the DiMarzio DP 704CR Evolution 7 guitar pickup was also made pretty quickly. This bridge pickup puts the main focus on power, attack and presence. The original Evolution design is combined with the so-called Virtual Vintage technology, resulting in intense highs, and a solid low end. The output of this pickup is mainly concentrated towards the mids and treble, allowing you to cut through a wall of sound.
